Why is the NMUSD leaving off the 2nd claim with JEFFREY HUBBARD, NOW CONVICTED PAST SUPERINTENDENT AND CURRENT ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT SUSAN ASTARITA, AND WITHHOLDING THIS FROM THE PUBLIC?

It is recommended the Board of Education reject Claim No. 11-MIM121311A and 11-MIM121311B in whole to protect the statute of limitations associated with future legal action.

Approved rejection of Claim Nos. 11-MIM121311A and 11-MIM121311B as to events which occurred on December 13, 2011.

The Board of Education returned as untimely claims referencing “Jackie Galitski,” “Jake Topete,” “Cari Ota,” “Kurt Suhr,” as well as the balance of the Claim Nos. 11-MIM121311A and 11-MIM121311B.  These claims were not presented within six (6) months after the event or occurrence, as required by law.

  1. Why is Jeffrey Hubbard, past NMUSD Superintendent now criminally charged in 2012 in his BHUSD trial and Susan Astarita, current Assistant Superintendent left off this claim, who were both included?
