1).KIMBERLY SPOKE FOR 1ST TIME AT NMUSD BOARD ASKING FOR HELP ON 

6-14-11 RECOMMENDED BY DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION IN SACRAMENTO BY DAVID- THEY DID NOT WANT TO HELP HER FAMILY AND OTHERS WHO REPORT COMPLAINTS AND CLAIMS THAT PROVIDE AN UNSAFE SCHOOL CAMPUS AND CLASSROOM WHEN SCHOOL VIOLATIONS ARE COMMITTED AND NOT REINFORCED.

2).E-MAIL WAS SENT ON 6-14-11, TO ALL THE BOARD MEMBERS AND OTHER PERTAINING TO SCHOOL VIOLATIONS, PEOPLE AFRAID, FEARFUL WHEN REPORTING SCHOOL VIOLATIONS AND THE IMMEDIATE RETALIATION THAT FOLLOWS THAT ENDANGERS A STUDENT, FAMILY OR OTHERS IN NMUSD COMMUNITY. 

THIS DOCUMENTATION WAS NOT REMEMBERED BY KIMBERLY AFTER SENDING IT OVER 1 YEAR LATER, SHOCKING TO THINK ABOUT BECAUSE KIMBERLY HAD BEEN ASKING FOR HELP IN EVERY AND ANY WAY POSSIBLE FOR HER FAMILY AND OTHERS IN THE NEWPORT MESA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT.

3).VOICEMAIL LEFT ON 6-14-11 FOR NMUSD PRESIDENT, WALT DAVENPORT WAS DOCUMENTED AND SAVED.

Tuesday June 14 2011 Voicemail stated something like this:

Hi Mr. Davenport, this is Kimberly Mimms calling. I know that you are the President of the Board of Newport Mesa Unified School District.  I have gone through a lot with my family with one of your local schools and have been a horrific nightmare. I don’t want to get too much through your voicemail, but if you can be so kind and send some emails through kgmimms1@yahoo.com. My daughter who is only 11 years old really wants me to come to the meeting tonight. I’m not sure if you are going to be there, but [I’ll] speak for her behalf. There is a letter that she has written to her teacher, as well the principal who was given a copy, they will not read it and it will never be acknowledge, which has broken my heart. I was hoping I could read some words tonight and there is bullying going on at school, which is astronomical. Why is it being destroyed by internal means of the principal, the teacher, and it just breaks my heart? I am risking a lot coming forward. There has been a lot of teachers, there was been a lot of staff, they have lost their health, lost their job, and a lot of people running scared. I hope that I can talk to you because I haven’t been able to get through Susan Astarita and the last time I talked with Bonnie Swan was when I read the letter through the phone to her, she basically told me my daughter was frail for writing a letter instead of getting up and communicating, failing pertaining to that the teacher was bullying her for months. There is a lot of people scared, a lot of parents that are very afraid, very scared and the principal is behind the whole thing and that’s because for running a daycare for one teacher in the school so I don’t want to put a lot on your voicemail, but I hope that you can care and make a difference here. I was reporting on the teacher on February 4th and the following working day, major retaliation happened to my 11-year-old child and she basically wants me to fight the good fight, not just for her but also for all the kids there and the kids that probably ran out of the school, according to different people that have told me. So thank you for your time, and your confidentiality with this. I hope and pray this can make a difference with teachers, and there are good teachers that want to make a difference and for all the families that dealt with the trauma, stress, and verbal abuse for reporting a teacher, and I would love to be able to give you more information, and again, I am here for my daughter, people who don’t have a voice, and people who are to afraid to come forward and I hope that you can hear this and know its from my heart. I’m risking a lot to come forward and I don’t even have my own my health, and from people with stories that rip your heart out and I hope you can make a difference. My phone number is [beep] and again I hope you can hear from me and hopefully have the strength to come to talk tonight for a brief few minutes because to tell you things that transpired even now for my daughter, who is afraid to go back to another classroom and might get hurt so God bless you and thank you so much for your time.
